Pesto Dip
Vegetarian
Ingredients
- One can drained and rinsed chickpeas
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped basil
- 1 – 3 T. fresh lemon juice
- 4 tsp. olive oil
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
Process these together until fairly smooth and let stand at room temperature, covered, for 2 to 3 hours to let the flavors blend. Serve with pita wedges.
